Upgraded my 1944-s Walker for this MS 65 CAC w/ nice hand and gown lines

I recently upgraded my '44-s Walker which was raw, nice and clean, but had a terrible mushy strike in the hand area and gown lines. It's tough to find a well struck example, and the most of the higher grade 66, 67 examples I've seen may be mark free, but exhibit the same mushy strike. So, I've found this one, with some character sure, but a very nice strike for the year/mint. The last photo is my previous example which will now go in my daughters treasure box. Happy Saturday, thanks for looking.

That’s a nice improvement!
Nice 44-S, with much better than average strike!
Nice upgrade congrats
Im looking for an S mint also with a good strike. they are out here. Yours is pretty good
Very nice WLH... and definitely an upgrade. I do like the luster on your previous coin though.... Cheers, RickO
Very nice detail on an issue notorious for weak strike.
Your example has good head detail as well.
Congratulations.
I like the newp.
Darker pastel-ish toning.
Nice look.
Thanks and Agree. My late date set only has a few toners, this now being one on them. Trust me, if I ever come across a luster bomb struck like this, I’d likely jump on it. Its a tough one, I’ve looked. Keep your eyes out
That is pretty decent for a 44-S. To me, this date is tougher than the 41-S for a good strike, still looking for a nice 66 myself.

Thanks and Nice sets you have there. Yes agree, a well struck 44-s turned out to be much tougher than the ‘41-s, which is often cited as the worse struck of the late set.
lovely walker you have there.

Great Walker! I love the toning and the luster, too.

Here’s my MS 66 CAC that I got from Pinnacle years ago. Above average strike and luster. I paid up for it, because I liked it.... Although that is a trend with me LOL. They have come down a bit since then.
