crazy to see the premium slight toning brings on higher grades

take this coin below, for example, nothing crazy about the toning, and the last 3 sold averaged around 5500, but this one brought in a nice premium. crazy to see these mild toners even bringing in a premium these a days

based solely on the provided images, I think you might want to reassess your opinion of what "slight toning" might be.
Prices such as that could lure me into the coin business....
My degree in metallurgical chemistry might help....

@goldrealmoney79.... While it is difficult to define 'a lot', the general answer is, yes - I have seen a significant amount of tarnished coins deemed 'market acceptable' (by someone)... That I believe are AT....Cheers, RickO
