Is this PCGS holder fake?

This coin doesnl't look right at all for the grade to me. Therefore I suspect the holder being fake, no other reason. No picture available on PCGS Verification page.

XF40? LOL.
Here's an XF40:
And here's the ebay coin:
Lance.
If the coin is real, it's a great candidate for a lowball set.
I don't think I've ever seen one that worn!
Um, yeah? I reported it.
Their's no way that isn't a fake holder.
How about a real holder that was supposed to be G4?

The holder looks real.
I don't see anything that sticks out compared to the Gen 4.4 example on the PCGS museum of holders page:
https://www.pcgs.com/holders/Gen4.4S
The photo isn't great so it's hard to judge the coin.
My first thought was it's real with really bad pics of the coin. In any event I wouldn't be buying this coin.

The coin is bonk! I have seen a few of these “concrete” looking coins recently in PCGS cases. Most are better dated material and in XF graded slabs. The cases look legit and will SCAN ☹️ The font is slightly off and they do have the lettering on the bottom of the case that you would expect to see.
The seller looks legitimate, yet has some terrible pictures. Here are a few examples:

I’m not convinced that the subject 20c piece is bad or has been switched. In fact, my guess would be that it’s neither.

Agree with Feld, probably real, just a horrible photo.
Terrible photos for sure, but that coin does not look like a 40 even accounting for the poor photos....Cheers, RickO
