That nice color sure doesn't hurt it's value.

I like it but wonder, in this case, if the plus and star are equal to being cited for the eye appeal twice.

There are so many striking 58-D Roosie toners that I imagine that grade is much more common than you think. FT is more common than not for the date. It's a nice enough coin, but nothing worthy of paying a strong premium for, frankly.

This was my first graded Roosevelt purchase and to be honest, I do not know the series.
I like the color and grade.
PCGS has a population of 34 in 67+ FB and 3 higher.
This is the only NGC graded 67+*FT.
I paid less than PCGS book for it.

I don't submit to or collect NGC, so I stand corrected about the population of your coin. Expect it to increase going forward. I'm glad to hear you didn't pay up for the coin. PCGS price guide is $350. Your coin would maybe bring 50-60% of that in a true auction, IMO. If the obverse were the "money" side, it might do a bit better.

Nice looker and appears to be more free of marks than some MS 68 coins !

I love it! Roosevelts have some of the coolest toning in my opinion.

That is one nice looking dime. Like the view of the rim and edge from the rev view. Peace Roy

With a bit more luster wouldn't be surprised if it was a 68.

Just the label grade alone will make this coin easy to sell... Now add a green bean and you have it all. ;) Well, all except the 'right' service... :D Cheers, RickO

the tone is shown as "exceptional" in the OP due to the camera angle and tilted slab, the NGC cert page image shows us a plain-jane common date with un-exceptional luster. I doubt it would same-grade-cross with our host, probably losing the "+" and perhaps a point.

not trolling, just giving an opinion. if you can't handle the negative, you don't deserve the positive. B)

If you believe in the coin, cross it, get it into an MS68FB holder and then you’ve got something.

    Later, Paul.

Based on the photos (and NGC's well-established reputation for being looser on Roosies, among other series), I think that's a decided long shot. One man's opinion.

tred lightly, c'junk, or you'll be considered a troll. :p
