Given! Thanks for the input guys. I guess the big bag mark high on the cheek seals its fate? The "reference" coin was from an auction site and is MS65 CAC green
btw does anyone else think the "4" in the date and the mm look kind of unique? This "4" has a pointy top when all the others I've seen have a flat top (like the reference coin). Also the "CC" looks a little different than most. Just a unusual die pair maybe?

Borderline MS64 / 65
I say MS64 overall appears to be a pleasing coin. This issue one of my favs.
Reverse is prooflike in hand, if that helps

Photo grading allows scuffs and face chatter to overrun the obverse causing an MS63 estimated grade.

MS64....obverse chatter holds back from a MS65. Nice coin with what appears to be decent eye appeal.

Thanks! I think it has pretty good eye appeal and nice luster (which is hard to capture). Here's a pic with better lighting:

I could see that in a 65 holder.

MS 66. Common date CC's get a bump because, CC. The chatter is very superficial.

Late to the game, but would have said 64....Probably what it would get if submitted here....IMO... Cheers, RickO
I see the grade now but would have guessed 'a solid ms64'.

Don't worry, it's staying in the older holder. And not likely to tone any more so you can rest easy there too
