You’re not wrong. The end of the line is looming and that one is up for consideration. I also really like the Bison note because it has a lot of cool features to it but I’m not relishing saving my pennies for it.

There are a lot of FR 114 Bisons around, keep looking and you'll find a nice one at a better price

"I’m trying to avoid the temptation of rushing to the end so that the upgrading can begin."
-Good approach. I'm sure there will be a banknote (or 2) that will speak to you soon enough.

    Back to six notes!

There's been a development. I'm doing a premature upgrade/replacement on one of my notes.

I saw a note that was beyond my immediate budgetary reach, but it is otherwise absolutely PERFECT for me. I could only afford this in FN15 at most and I liked the look of this FN15. So I to have it! But the timing on this is terrible for a purchase. So first I put one my notes up for sale to make this happen. I sold my $20 (1922) Gold Certificate for a slight profit. Then I used the proceeds to enter into a layaway plan for this "perfect for me” note. If needed, I'll sell another note to help pay for it, but I don't think that will be necessary. But it will likely take more than a month to pay this puppy off!

Not sure of the etiquette associated with showing seller's photos for notes on layaway so I'll hold off on pictures for now. Feel free to speculate on what it is.

Really enjoying collecting coins and currency again
