gtstang, on Ignition, have you taken out money from the site and how do you do it? A Check?
Ignition and Bovada are part of the PaiWangLuo network, Bovada transferred its poker product to Ignition.
I have only withdrawn from Bovada. Monthly withdraw limit of $2,500. Takes several weeks to get a check, that is usually drawn on a Canadian bank. I've always been paid over the last ~10 years.

I haven't. You can do a check if under $1500 or a wire transfer if over. They also do bitcoin. From what I have read, you get one free withdrawal over a set time (I don't remember what that time frame is at the moment) .
I like the deepstack mtt's. Fairly easy to crush if you don't mind putting the time in

It depends on what state you're in. I have been playing on ignition. They only have hold'em, Omaha, and Omaha hi/lo.
Razz was my money maker.
The thing with all 50 states playing is that there are a lot of fish.
With only a handful of states playing, what you have are the hardcore grinders playing which makes making money a lot harder.
Hmmmm a fellow razz fan (i.e. weirdo haha). Did you play on Stars, Full Tilt, or both? Pretty good chance I'd recognize your screen name and maybe you'd recognize mine...

Full Tilt, I knew all the Razz regulars and HOW they played
That's the way to win, haha I played mostly on full tilt but a little on Stars as well. Somehow I don't remember your screen name but we may have played at some point. Mine was SGspecial.

Are there any good online cash Razz sites?
Razz is way more predictable than Holdem and counting cards gives you a huge advantage.
I am sure we played, but that was so long ago.
I would think they would really push for nationwide online cash poker during covid.
There's nothing that equates to how good FTP was back in the day. Stars was good too but with the lower antes it made it more correct to nit it up, which I didn't like haha. I'm in PA and pokerstars is online here now. There are occasional razz cash games that spring up and 2 razz MTTs every week which are fun!
Lol at that old pic with quarters and bills on the table. Funny story -- years ago I was in Vegas and went to play 1-5 spread limit stud at the Mirage poker room. For those who aren't poker geeks, this was 7-card stud but the betting limit for each round is anywhere from $1 to $5 (which is extremely unusual). I had never played that structure before, but everyone had quarters on the table so I figured it was a quarter ante. When I put one out before my first hand, they laughed at me and said there's no ante, the quarters are just to tip the dealer! NO ANTES haha. Even funnier was about 10 hands later one guy brought it in for $4 with a 2. Everyone folded of course and he flipped over KK and said "I didn't want one of you jackasses drawing out on me".

I got this shirt for knocking out a full tilt pro in a razz mtt.
Wow it's like a FTP reunion here! I vaguely remember acustaw but I don't think we played each other often. I got a few of those shirts too but with the donkey on them instead.
Great pic @ErrorsOnCoins Looks like you're still hooking lots of fish!!

Playing poker without antes or blinds is about as exciting as watching the grass grow.

Exactly! Except most of these guys always wanted to see more cards so even if the bring-in only bet $1 (this is a forced bet, so it does put at least a buck in the pot) and someone raised to $3 there would still be lots of callers. It made for a very juicy game
I will stick to playing in real life... at a table, with people present. I really like poker - Hold 'em, seven card, draw... and usually do well. Cheers, RickO
I ground it out in limit hold'em on Bodog for many years, which was fine. Then when they became Bovada, it was still fine. When they sold to Ignition, they cashed me out because I'm in NY. We're not allowed to have fun here, heck, you don't want to get caught with a plastic bag, yikes!
I still play on Global and Bet on Line. Bet on Line is currently under cyber attack, so they're presently down.

Too many pretty colors at the online tables obv Do you play in home games? Casinos? Card rooms? Bar leagues? There used to be "charity" games at different bars every night of the week.
Poker rooms are open in Southern California outside only in a tent. I played last week in Oceanside and I was roasting during the day. It was a hot, sunny day and the fans weren’t helping much. If I was roasting in Oceanside (2 miles from beach) the LA card rooms (Bicycle and Commerce) must have been ovens.

Do they sanitize the cards after each hand?
Are the players 6 feet apart?
Are masks required?
Bring back nationwide online cash poker!!!
No, no, yes.
I was playing NL which is normally 9 handed. Games were all 8 handed with acrylic barriers separating players. There are trays available with hand sanitizer which you can place by your seat. Players were wearing masks and most of them had their nose covered. Players are allowed to drink water or soft drinks while playing.
I remember wondering why this tournament would be held in Chicago when I first saw it advertised. Indiana has much more accommodating gambling laws. The area casinos are located right across the border in Hammond. I guess now I know: so the host could set-up a scammy hustle.
I miss online poker. It created more live poker players. Since Black Friday my area casinos' poker rooms have had much less action.
I find it odd that one single man named Sheldon has all the power to halt online poker just by himself, it really sucks
Shhhh don't even speak the name of "the one" lol. He's pretty evil, but he had plenty of willing minions following him. On the bright side, states that have legalized/regulated poker seem to be doing well with it and not falling into the ocean, so maybe when the winds blow a different direction other states will jump on board too.

Scammer!
I wish online poker was legal across the USA like it used to be.

This was a $10+1 buy in.

Who needs "online poker"?
A scene from the film "The Man with the Golden Arm" (1955)

A number of these gambling sites that charge a withdrawal fee ($50-65), will waive the fee if you withdraw on a Monday.
idk but guess the reasoning is they want you to lose it all over the weekend???
I played a lot of razz on full tilt also. My screen name was acustaw.
I got this shirt for knocking out a full tilt pro in a razz mtt.
lol, I have a different knock out a pro shirt.
I love full tilt poker shirts, I probably got (using my free store points) 20 shirts for free.
They had great promotions.
