Another dollar I found snorkeling with my daughter while in Florida a few years ago. I was asked by a dealer/ collector if I found anything at The Fun Show (Summer fun) while down there. I said I found a dollar, sent a picture later. They didn’t find it funny when they saw the picture. I was told something along the lines not to joke about coins. Stick in the mud!
Best dollar I found in Florida , a wonderful memory for my daughter an I
Boom!
Awesome Civil War Proof!

1872 $ may be considered a common date in the series. But not to many exist PQ and original like this one in choice AU. I was lucky enough to have FROR when a good friend @Pickwickjr decided to sell. The Dick Osburn pedigree is really cool because he is the guy that wrote the book on them....
PCGS VF-35

For only having one example, the date you have is very impressive.
My one and only:
This example reminds me of the 1867 posted earlier.
Shish that is a great looking 1865. A very tough date to find original and beautiful. Congrats!
Cool!
I love Civil War dates.
One of my favorites
Like the toning
I was wondering when @Crusty would chime in on this thread. It must be very difficult to pick just a few as you have tons of stunners!
