Dansco vs Whitman album toning?

What are your experiences with album toning? I had uncirculated moderns in Whitman’s for many years and they developed multi-colored and rainbow toning. I’ve had modern silvers in dansco’s for several years now and they seem to develop golden toning, I like the Whitman toning much better. I’m not a fan of the golden dansco toning. I also have some Harris albums but haven’t been able to discern a toning pattern yet. I assume climate plays a role so your experiences may be different. What are others experiences? What albums impart the best toning.

To me it all depends on the age of the album if they are still sealed in original packaging to prevent off gassing combined with humidity and temp control.
I like dansco toning on Nickels and old original wayte albums for copper. For silver find some old mint bags and wait a few decades.
depends on coin size and metal composition (and whether you want color to stay like as minted)
I have seen zinc cents ruined by old Whitman holders.
I bought 26 silver Eagles that were bright white, put them in a Dansco with the anti-corrosion slip cover and they still toned. Mostly purpleish along the rims. Nothing unattractive but if you wanted to keep them white it was not the best option
A decade or three in a Whitman, starting with white silver, may turn an intense blue at the rims with narrow bands of other colors and white centers. Copper nickel clad coins turn dirty cloudy looking but may also have colors, I've got a peace and Franklin set and a type set in classic albums for a long time
A Dansco will, also over many years, produce a more even golden colored silver coin, with russet rims, eventually turning dark blue to black and spreading inwards, with nice rainbows, clad coins can also go rainbow, I've got an amazing IKE set in a Dansco that should really be slabbed and sold, they're starting to get too far, put together one by one in the late 70's, and a Washington quarter set, and a couple of 7070s, a few others, all just chilling in a bank SDB, no experience with heating or gassing, only time..
Edit: and then there are the old Wayte Raymonds...

Interesting.
Ive always found better toners come out of danscos usually then whitman for some reason
That is why I stopped using albums years ago.....tarnished my coins.
