Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
61 + fingerprint
He who knows he has enough is rich.
62 would be my guess.
63 seems correct, the chatter is being magnified here.
Now if it beans is another story.
61, seems like a lot more abrasion than I’ve seen in 62 holders.

Nice gold coin... MS62 based on the image..... Magnification may be hurting the coin and it could be 63 in hand. Cheers, RickO
Good point. I'm guessing those pics don't do this coin any favors and it may look a lot better in hand. That's one of the problems with most GTG posts but they can be fun.

63 or so, original look.

I was thinking 63. Nice coin..

The coin looks undergraded by today’s standards but the price difference between 62 and 63 is minimal. Does the coin look proof like in hand?
In hand, it does not look proof like, but it is flashy and clean for a 62. But yeah the price difference is so small, why pursue an upgrade or even a CAC sticker?

Yes, keep the old green holder.
Sometimes, depending on lighting and photography, a coin can show a lot of chatter.
He who knows he has enough is rich.
@philographer good eye on the fingerprint, but is that what that is?
Appears so, though could be on the slab or on the coin.
He who knows he has enough is rich.
The obverse almost looks like the coin was "sweated".
It's just the usual bag marked surfaces found on Liberty double eagles in the AU and the lower MS grades.

Beautiful piece - dazzling luster.

Looks like the consensus at 62 was correct.
got here late, but 62 was my guess before I saw the label. Nice luster and color!
Of course the 1904 comes nice. Not sure there is a bias but 61/62 seems right compared to the 04's I have seen.
where is the fingerprint?
8 o'clock by the reverse rim.
