Happy Columbus Day!!!
I'll 2nd that!
I used to have one of those cool high relief HK-222’s ..... was thinking of getting another just because the design looks so cool in deep cameo. It’s the coin I think of first on this holiday.
Ok I know the "model" wasn't indigenous, but it is commonly called an indian head....

While it may not feature an indigenous person it was certainly used by them!

@Bullsitter Nice. Really like those.

Thanks! I actually have quite a few. Some of my favorites include a LSDollar, LSHDollar, and a few CBHs that I've posted. For buffs, I also have an OGH
Nice coins!
Some nice coins here... @Zoins... I have never seen a blue Buffalo nickel before..... so I can understand why it was QC... Certainly uniform on both sides... That doctor had a degree in art... Cheers, RickO
Yes, our hosts graded it QC, but I've also never seen another, QC or NT, and I liked it so I picked it up. I got it from Dick Abrahams / @MrD.
I wonder if it was the same forum member doing he blue Jeffs years ago!
@Zoins.... I recall some of those blue Jeffs.. Though my memory may be fading, I do not recall them being as vibrant blue as your Buff.... Cheers, RickO
I never saw the forum member photos as it was before my time, but I saw some super vibrant ones on TeleTrade in NT PCGS holders. I wish I picked some up at the time as I haven't seen them in years, though I continue to look on occasion.
@Zoins.... If I see any in my internet wanderings, I will alert you. Cheers, RickO
Great condition coins have been posted here, so mine looks dowdy by comparison. But it does have something else going for it.
My YouTube Channel
Great Buff Joe, Extremely nice strike with only a small amount of flatness in center(upper leg and hair braid) which is typical for most 1916's. Another nice herd member.

Hey there, Jim😊
Yes the strike on this proof is really something, that’s why I bought it. That along with it’s totally original surfaces took my money.
Thank you my friend

I'm late to the Columbus Day party!
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
Jeez, people are easily triggered. Come to two threads to look at nice coin pics celebrating holidays celebrated in different American communities. Five posts here trying to start some dumb political argument.
Agreed. There already is a post Columbus Day coins thread and some nice coins to be found there. UPDATED: And I don't have good images of my Columbus commems to post there, and the 1893 half I have is so worn I'd be laughed off that page.
Wow, Joe. How dumb of me, should have noticed the rims. My bad. What a great looking matte proof.

Not dumb at all. I have a 16 MS Buff that looks more like a proof than this one does🤪
I know it's not a coin but it kind of points to one. Lol

the birth village of Powhatan, Pocahontas' father, was located near my route to work. Many of the people who work for me are members of the Chickahominy tribe. Happy Indigenous People's Day!
Awesome Jamestown So-Called Dollar. I was hoping to see one of these!
I'm the little guy standing in front of the governor with my grandfather, dad, brother and cousin.
Here's a token I have also.
Have you ever been to the Mattaponi Rez?
No, I haven't. I would like to kayak on the Mattaponi river sometime, I hear it's beautiful. (Driving south on I 95 between Fred.burg and Richmond, you drive over bridges crossing, separately, the Matta, Po, and Ni rivers. They combine to form......)
