Ok I was looking at my 1881-O morgan and found these what seems to be, die cracks
now these pics were taken with an old webcam so they aren't the best but I did try to get as close as possible without the pics being blurry

Yes, it's a die crack.
They are very very common on many dates
and mintmarks of Morgan dollars.
thanks, Fred
just wasn't too sure of what i was seeing and didn't want to jump the gun and say it was something when it wasn't

Some die cracks create really cool patterns. With Morgan’s, I like finding large die cracks with toning around them. It can be quite striking.
If you really want to see some cool die cracks, look at 1921-dated Morgans. A lot can be found there.

Looks like a die crack.
well sometimes our eyes tend to play tricks on us, and on coins, you think you see something but
in your mind, you are unsure of what you are seeing so having others look at things gives another opinion to the issue at hand

One of my favorites is the 1921-D Pompadour T. Super cool.
"It's like God, Family, Country, except Sticker, Plastic, Coin."
Common but still nice to see it
@silverpop .... You are correct about 'sometimes seeing things' that may be something else or nothing at all... it is called 'pareidolia'... Good pictures though, even with the webcam. Cheers, RickO
