For premium perspective Costco UK puts a six percent mark up on a 50g bar and APMEX puts a 4.4% markup on 10 oz generic bar.

It will still be a better investment than their high-end jewelry section but not comparable to their TP.

I have been a Costco shopper/member since they began....and their prices are great. That being said, I will not be a gold/silver buyer there. A couple of reasons... one, the markup. Two, I have stacks acquired and prices that are less than their premiums :D Cheers, RickO

That's amazing as I go to Costco at least once a month. That said, I'm not an idiot and I'm not paying a crazy marked up premiums! :D Shame on Costco UK, wtf?

maybe the extra premium is for "cash and carry."
