I realize this 1917 type 1 Standing Liberty Quarter would not be of a value warranting sending in to PCGS, would it, in your opinion grade if sent in from this photo, all I've got. It will be added to my Dansco 7070.

I'm not good at all guessing why a coin wouldn't grade besides being cleaned or counterfeit. I would guess looks original to me with nothing stopping it from grading. Someone else may prove me wrong. Lol Looks like a nice dansco filler!

Yes.

Agree with straight grade, G6 or VG8.
Its crusty 🙂
The crusty is what got my attention. I believe it might be a F12. I've seen several PCGS F12's that looked worse. Even pcgs photograde shows the shield with half it's rivets in VG10 and F12 with most of it's rivets among other signs. Regardless, I like it for its looks not it's grade. Thanks for your replies.

I'd agree with a F12
I believe it will straight grade... a nice old SLQ that has served well in commerce. Cheers, RickO
I think that it’s a Nice looking crusty old circulated quarter with appropriate toning and wear. Pop it in the ole Dansco.
F-15 would be my guess from the pics you’re showing. I like it for its original crusty look.
F12. Original coin. It would grade if submitted.
I thought VG-10 until I saw the second picture.
The coin is, indeed, a solid Fine.

It is a fine. Thats why I put the picture up as it shows a VG and that coin is a better example. I would say F at least.
