Another Great Transaction with Coast To Coast. 1942 D Washington Quarter

I have bought a few coins from them off Ebay and there Website and all my purchases have gone smoothly. Going thru my Registry Set this morning after a Good Root Canal the Set Match feature picked up this 1942 D that I have been searching for a Nice example for years.
This has been one of the last 6 coins I needed that have proven hard to find in the grade I wanted. There are only 56 MS 67 with 17 coins graded higher so its a tough coin to find. I also love the fact this coin has the True View which is great for us members who can't take a Good picture. This is coin Number 178 with 5 more to Go.
Enjoy Tom

Very nice, congrats on ur pickup
That is a very, very nice quarter.... And an excellent year (I am an authority on they year ). Cheers, RickO
Purchased a few of their raw beauties from old collections over the years. I like 'em.
Woooofff, nice specimen.
I will have to disagree with the majority here. While the surfaces of the coin are very mark free the weakness in the date, to me, is a big negative.
Thanks everyone for the comments. Yes @291fifth I missed that until the next morning and than went and checked coin facts and saw that this is the only coin that the date looks smashed down. I wonder what would cause that on that spot only?
Interesting but still love the coin and your never to old to make a small mistake. I will not be sending the coin back as its my fault for not noticing before the purchase. When you get down to the last 5 or 6 coins is when you really need to slow down and not be in a hurry to fill a hole.

I like that coin. I get daily emails from them, they do carry a decent inventory too. Every now and then I'll pull the trigger.

You may need a doctor to correct your constant grin. Cheeks starting to hurt yet? Be ready for phase 2 when your coin arrives and you open the package.
Probably worth sending to cac. Maurice Rosen's advisory did a newsletter on cac success rates as you moved up the grading scale, and your chances get better as you approach superb specimens like this coin.
Very nice coin! Question for you and @ElmerFusterpuck: when you buy from this shop do you buy direct from the website, or through the bay? (Looks like they list the coins slightly higher on ebay presumably to recoup the fees) Do you find them willing to bargain either through their website or ebay listings?
Edit: feel free to PM me if responses ITT aren't appropriate

Very clean . nice..... can we be spared commercial plugs?
Here I always thought it was a good thing to tell others when we have a positive experience with any dealer. I do not work for them but feel there business treated me Good.
How is this any different than saying I bought a coin from GC or Heritage or Stacks? Plus I actually found this coin using PCGS Registry Feature that takes you to coins your searching for.
Coin arrived safely today and looks every bit as good as the true view and Fast Shipping. I am Happy and grinning ?
Enjoy Tom

I've ordered from the website only, and I did call once to see if there was wiggle room for a coin. I got the impression they stay firm on their price, which was ok with me for that instance. I still regret not buying a very nicely toned '10-S Lincoln from them in 65 RB, haven't seen one like it since.

I've always had pleasant transactions with C2C - bought a nice 1856 S9 PC64 from them not long ago.
Mentioned the commercial plug for coin dealers here...I recall the indignation here many years ago ,when posters were pushing their BST coins in this forum..
My dealer friend says it's his job to provide great service & satisfaction to his customers ,otherwise his customers will go elsewhere.
Nice Newp!

Sorry for the thread hijack and opening the door for more plugs. Let's consider this a general question now about dealing with B&M coin shops who also deal on ebay. Do you buy from the store site or try to bargain on ebay?

Tommy, great looking coin. Very nice addition to your set! Glad to see you posting too!
I like the idea of knowing where you got a nice coin. Haven't dealt with C to C in awhile. Got to looking on their sight, now I can't figure out why I haven't been checking all along. I like their offerings. Thank you.
Nice...
