Going through a bag of commemoratives. Finding information on most but only photos of the one pictured here. Would anyone have any information on this one? Thank you!

It's a National Commemorative Medal, see

Struck by the US Mint in Philadelphia. Considered a part of the National Commemorative Medal series.
They’re generally found spotted and most have brown surfaces. Yours has some spotting, but has a lot of red color.
Likely worth about $50 - $75.
Thank you!
Does anyone know if this is pre-WWII? Looks like it was minted on a brass planchet, possibly copper. Maybe gently cleaned.
Since WWII was from '39 to '45, it likely was minted during the war... Though plans for it may have preceded actual minting. Cheers, RickO
Why wouldn't it have been struck in 1940 or maybe even late 1939. Very few medals using copper would have been struck after the US entered WWII in late 1941. The copper was needed for military purposes. The 1943 steel cents were an example of copper supplies being redirected to the war effort.
