2001 Rhode island. Error or not?

I have a rhode island p quarter and i think it has an error. Can someone help

    I am going to guess that you are asking about the marks below the 7 & 9?

    That is post mint damage (PMD) it looks like reeding from another coin hit it. ;)

    Agree with @ifthevamzarockin The marks are from the reeding of another coin hitting it. You can see the displaced metal as the raised area on the right side

    Just circulation marks. No collector interest or added value.

    @Spunkykr1.... Welcome aboard.... The picture shows Post Mint Damage (PMD) on your quarter...not a mint error and no added numismatic value. Cheers, RickO
