I have a few coins with interesting provenance, here are a couple that I like:
This Henry VI Groat was minted in 1431-1432 at the Calais Mint. It was owned by Archbishop Sharp of York, who died in 1714.
This Groat of Edward III was minted at The Tower in 1354-1355. It was owned by Lord Stewartby who was a Member of Parliament, served in the government under Margaret Thatcher and was a member of The Privy Council. Lord Stewartby also authored several numismatic books including "English Coins -1180-1551."
