I received the message and code from ebay, and the discount worked for me. The hardest part was finding something for $25 that I actually wanted. I just bought a retail box to rip.

Worked for me. I bought 2 1983 or 1984 OPC Wax packs. Its been a while since I opened some older hockey. It only cost about $4.00 for the packs after the discount and shipping.

I got the email too but no code. Ironically I also got to read about all of my ebay firsts too and my first ebay sale of a Tom Brady 2000 Bowman Chrome Refractor BGS 9 RC went to a known(unknown at the time) card trimmer.

I started in 2001 and it didn’t work, Simone else who started in 2000 it worked for. May be a cutoff around 2000/2001??

This is accurate. It only works if your account was opened before a certain date. My account is ‘98 and it worked.

My 1998 account received it. My 2008 account did not receive it. So, if you were before August 29, 1998, you are golden, but after October 1, 2008 did not receive it.

Let's narrow this down. The cutoff date is somewhere between August 29, 1998 and October 1, 2008. Who can narrow it down even farther?

I started in 2001 and didn’t get it. Another member started in 2011 and got it. So that throws this out the window.
