If I add an item to my Cart then click on Go To Checkout am I obligated to buy at that point? I'd like to see if the code deducts from the total before committing to buy something, is this possible?

No, as long as you add to your cart you are not obligated. I just did the same thing. The code did not work for me, however. I was not asked to pay for anything.

Ok same question but clicking on BIN instead of Add to Cart,does Go To Checkout make me commit to buy that way?

From those who got the actual email from eBay, this coupon may be tied to when you created your account with them. The subject stated “thank you for being with us from the very beginning! Here's a coupon for you, plus a look back at your history with us."

I started in 2001 and it didn’t work, Simone else who started in 2000 it worked for. May be a cutoff around 2000/2001??

I just sent a message to seller on an item that had no Buy It Now option. I asked if they could accept something less than the BIN amount. They responded with an offer that matched my request, and I was able to still use the $25 off code with no problem.
