Shaquille O' Neal appeared in two memorable movies, "Kazaam" and "Steel" both garbage. Don't quit your day job big guy.
The Rifleman- Chuck Connors.
Howie Long in "Firestorm".
@Darin, I've watched The Rifleman a lot. Good stuff.
I liked Bubba Smith in "Police Academy" and on "Married with Children."
Woodrow Wilson Woolrine Strode, better known as Woody Strode.
Played in the backfield at UCLA with Jackie Robinson, starred in John Ford's classic western,
Sergeant Rutledge. He was John Wayne's sidekick in 'Liberty Valance' and part of John Fords'
family of actors. He didn't last long in one of my favorite westerns' Leones' "Once upon a time in the West".
Double D, he either played pro baseball or basketball, I can't remember which.
But I believe he excelled in both sports. Thinking he played MLB.
shaq was on fresh off the boat a few times i think
@Darin, I think you're right, he played both. He played for the Celtics and played for the Dodgers at one time.
Terry was in "Smokey and the Bandit 2" and "Cannonball Run".
Double D- you got two for one in that picture of Bradshaw.
Burt Reynolds was a football player at Florida State.
@Darin, I actually didn't know Burt Reynolds played football, that's crazy!
Fred Dryer in "Hunter".
Dennis Rodman in "Double Team".
MJ in Space Jam, along with Larry Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shawn Bradley, Mugsy Bogues and Patrick Ewing.
Alex English in a movie whose title I do not remember.
Ed Marinero in Hill Street Blues.
Dr. J in Attack Of The Killer Tomatos.
Merlin Olson in The Little House On The Prarie.
Alex Karas as Mongo in Blazing Saddles.
OJ Simpson in The Naked Gun movies and in a sci fi movie as an astronaut that supposedly went to Mars.
Dandy Don Meridith
Rosey Grier
Fred Wiliamson
Trammel and Whitaker on Magnum PI
Mays and Banks were on tv shows
The Guy who plays the Transporter was a world class diver

Awesome movie, action packed!
Jim Brown in “Tick Tick Tick” Such a great movie, it’s about a Black Sheriff taking over in a small predominantly White Southern Town back in the 60’s. It’s a classic
The “Boz”
Dick Butkus, Ben Davidson, Evander Holyfield, Roger Craig, Randy White, Jerry Rice, Earl Campbell, Tony Dorsett, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Jim Kelly and Herschel Walker, in Necessary Roughness.
Steve
The worst acting job ever
Ed Marinero's brother was my camp councilor around 1980 summat .
Don't forget Blue Chips with Nick Nolte
100000000000% 😂😂😂
Jim Brown in The Dirty Dozen was great.
Michael Irvin, The Boz and Dave Meggit in The Longest Yard.
Watch the movie "The Big Country" probably the best performance ever by an ex pro athlete. Connors nails the "bad guy" role to a "T"!!!!
Carl Weathers in the Rocky movies very good too!
Agreed Banzai. Connors was probably the most talented at sports and acting combined
as anyone listed in this thread.
I remember he was a guest on an episode of gunsmoke and he played a boxer who didn't
carry a gun. He liked to bully men and just clobber them for no reason. Of course in the
end Matt Dillon had to take him on and teach him a lesson.
Chuck was great in 'The Big Country'. Great performance by Gregory Peck as well.
Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris in 'The way of the Dragon'.
And if you want to see anything hairier than Chuck Norris in this movie
you'll have to spot an actual Sasquatch.
Simply a great Western with a great performances by Burl Ives and Carroll Baker as well. Charlton Heston too!
Very predictable movie but sooooo good!
Don't forget Roger Murdock . . .
. . . He was the Co-Pilot
I seem to remember that Ben Davidson had many "bit" parts in both movies and TV. Not a star like many of the others mentioned here but still kept busy with multiple parts.
this guy was the "spongeworthy" guy for Elaine on Seinfeld, but probably best known as Luke on the Gilmore Girls
How about Arnold S. the Terminator.
He also played a baseball player in Little Big League
Merlin Olsen
Johnny Weissmuller was an Olympic swimmer and played Tarzan.
Six Million Dollar Man had episodes with Larry Csonka, Dick Butkus, George Foreman, and Andre the Giant as Sasquatch.
