Anyone having trouble adding PayPal to their US Mint acct?

RaufusRaufus Posts: 6,817 ✭✭✭✭✭

For some reason this is not showing up as a payment option for me. There is no customer service available at the meant to ask so I figured I would ask a forum. Thanks!

I used Paypal at the U.S. Mint a couple of weeks ago no problems.

Thanks. I've used it in the past as well no problems. This morning I don't see it on my account and I don't see an option to add it on to my account. Bizzare. I just didn't know if anyone.

I just looked and it doesn't show as a payment option. I've used it plenty in the recent past. I cancelled my basketball coin order. No paypal 6 month financing.

    Oh no.

It is by far the fastest option and one that I was depending on for any remote shot of getting the gold 75th anniversary World War II coin. I have used it for high demand issues in the past this must be yet another new adverse mint policy. Ugh

I used it as late as with the recent colorized Basketball coin release—no issues

Too bad about that.... a good and secure system. The Mint should offer that option...must be the fees that put them off...heck, incorporate it into the price, but keep the option. Cheers, RickO

I just read the responses closely—it seems the us mint on release dates doesn’t offer PayPal as a pymt option
I agree this is rediculous; it is one of the only ways to speed to payment process and not get in the stupid “loop” of your saved credit card not being recognized, etc, or having to key in all over again.
The us mint should look at speeding the amount of clicks required to execute an order.
We shouldn’t have to confirm a shipping or home address; should have to choose a “defaulted” payment method, and after a few executions we shouldn’t have to enter a CVV if using a known and confirmed shipping address

Only the Govt would take such a step backwards. This is absurd. It's the fastest way to go. As noted by others, you'd think that they'd promote PP on high demand days. Unreal.
