1875 P Proof Twenty Cent Piece?

What do you guys think? Is this a proof? It has an extremely strong strike and a slight proof-like field is evident through all the harsh cleaning hairlines.

    I'm thinking business strike because the rims do not look square enough. It's a shame someone scrubbed the XXXX out of it.

    Based mainly on the rims, I would say it is not a proof...Too bad about the major 'cleaning', looks like it may have been a real beauty of a strike. Cheers, RickO

    The dies used to strike proofs were also used to strike issues for circulation. As a result, there are plenty of circulation strikes with proof-like surfaces and strong strikes.
