Interesting pair of wonderfully morbid 17th century jetons (rechenpfennige) I recently picked up

Germany (Harz, Zellerfeld): copper rechenpfennig by mintmaster Henning Schlüter, ca. 1625-1672
Obverse: HENNING · SCHLU TER · F · B · L · M · M · Z · Z :, coat of arms
Reverse: CONSIDERA : NOVISS · ET · IN · ÆTERNVM · NON · PECCABIS ·, skull, facing slightly right, with hourglass above; crossed scythe and spade behind; worms to right and left and through the eye sockets.
Neumann-31695. Copper. Struck by mintmaster Henning Schlüter in the city of Clausthal-Zellerfeld in Harz. Undated; circa 1625-1672.
Ex-Münzenhandlung Raffler, Schwabmünchen, Germany, 30 June 2020.
Here's the second one, which is pretty much identical but appears to have perhaps been silvered some centuries ago.
Anybody got any ideas on that Latin inscription?
CONSIDERA : NOVISS · ET · IN · ÆTERNVM · NON · PECCABIS.
Consider (anew?) and (eternally?) (your insecurity?)
I'm clueless, even with Google's help.

Wait- I think I might have cracked it! Comparing the legend with the similar inscription on this monument (which was helpfully captioned), it appears to mean:
"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin."
(Ecclesiasticus 7:40)
That makes sense, given the design, which is a sort of memento mori motif.
Those are pretty cool, LordM!

@Justacommeman has a nice collection of skulls.
My favorite oddity remains the "vomiting dog" coin.

Nice! I just got one of those delivered a few weeks back as well:
I think that I may know the type to which you are referring, @Boosibri. Is it this one:

Wow, that's a really nice one. MS? Look at that red!
Mine aren't nearly so nice, but they are OK, and were inexpensive.
@Boosibri — I thought that it might be the one; it didn't last very long in my inventory, and definitely has a lot going on.
@lordmarcovan — I always grade earlier stuff like this a bit harsher than the services, but it is pretty nice. I was pleasantly surprised when I got it, as it definitely looks better in hand and in this image than in the seller's image. Always a welcome occurrence

Cool pick ups LM!!!
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I would expect nothing less than a choice Vomiting Dog in the collection of @Justacommeman
Latin American Collection
Damn, does this mean I have to buy a vomiting dog, too?
We have three of the real thing, and they are occasionally known to do that in the house.
I must admit that it IS a bit more appealing in numismatic form.
Reminds me of the "pooping donkey" notgeld notes from Paderborn.
