Wow what a find. I had a similar moment a few months ago when I picked this buffalo off of eBay early in the am
about 5 am eastern standard time. A 1913 type one buffalo in XF condition. Three and one half legged. Though not quite as expensive in XF as the
1916/1916 of which an estimate of 200 exist, this is somewhat rarer. One of these sold for around 50K in ms65
at a major auction in 2005 I think

Not knowing much about buffalo nickels I did a quick comparison to PCGS Photograde...I'd say it's a solid AG3, possible G4. Opinions on that evaluation?
Agree, an easy AG3, could it squeak to G4? We'll find out eventually.
I think it will go "good" but get a details grade because of the scratches on both sides of the coin.

Hi Tom, Sweet! How many of these have you found? I'm still looking for my first.
Proud recipient of the coveted "You Suck Award" (9/3/10).
I have also cherried three, the last an AU53 in 2008. I still have that one. The other two were an AU with problems in 2007 and an MS64 shortly after that one.

Yowza! Great find!

Believe it or not three. I found an ms60 a few years ago, then very early this year a fine-12, and then recently
an xf-40. Just luck I think.
