Agree. This was an I.Q. test for the finder. It'll be interesting to see if the finder gets to keep any of their coins. Of course, when they are found as part of an organized archeological dig, they shouldn't be kept.

That is an archaeological dig... no chance of keeping the coins. As far as cleaning them with the pick, standard procedure, they are not coin collectors. Cheers, RickO
