How is the coin shortage affecting your area?

My area (Bay area/central valley) it appears that only Starbucks still has loose coins to give back as change, everyone else is saying exact change or card.
How is it in your locale?

SW NM has signs at all the fast food joints I drive through stating exact/card only.
I paid for a few drinks at McDonalds with all coins last week and actually got an excited “thanks for the change!” From the girl at the window.

I haven’t seen anything in my area. Lots of signs but plenty of change.

Gettysburg, Pa. area Banks will only give Change if you have a Business account with them, and you must give them an advanced notice, no out of the Blue walk up and ask for Rolls of any type of change because you will not get any! Sad....

Turned in $83 worth of change this week to help the cause. Bank gave full value.

There's a convenience store by me that will give you face value for rolled coins + 10% on a store gift card.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Chipotle rounds up if you don't use a debit card. :/ Fortunately, I always carry a debit or credit card with me.

Since some banks are paying a premium and presumably charging a premium, the bank didn't do you any special favors.

I pay in cash and I get change back. No difference here as far as I can see.

don't even feel it really. One Post office says exact change please.

I am starting to see coinstars now open, for the greater good of course

No issues here.... Still have the 'cent' tray in convenience stores... no signs requesting change....Have not asked for rolls at the bank (have not been to the bank :D ). Usually I can pay in exact change anyway... always carry three quarters, three dimes, three nickels and four cents in my pocket when going out. Cheers, RickO

Philly area. The few times I've gone out, I've seen lots of signs re: low change, but no issues yet. Twice have asked for & received maybe 2 or 3 rolls of Q's and 1 each D's & N's, just so I can search thru for 2019's & 2020's to keep our collections up-to-date. Not much success there, with the exception finally of 2020 cents. What fun is a quarantine without being fully able to waste time searching thru many more times that number of rolls of coins? :o;)

If anyone out there has P or D 2020's and the last 2 2019 Q's both mints, I'm always looking to trade!
