If someone pays for a coin with fee based PP isn't there supposed to be a shipping address available? Unless I'm missing it I can't find one.

Go to the PayPal site, click on "Activity" on the top header. A list of your recent transactions will appear, click on the transaction that you're referring to and the shipping address should show up.

You should have the option to purchase a shipping label. Click on the transaction and all the details should be there.
Except there's no option to print a label or an address. I asked the buyer for an addy but nothing yet.
Sounds like he paid with Paypal friends and family. That is the only thing I can think of. Are you sure you were charged Paypal fees?
yes I was
Your dilemma "does not compute," unless it was a "gift payment" not requiring for a shipping label. All purchases paid via pp will have an address in order for you to generate a shipping label. Suggest you contact PP for help.
I will get his address from him
i believe it matters if you sent an invoice and he then paid.

All payments that are not friends and family I have received have all been the same with an option to print a shipping label and the address displayed. Payment with or without an invoice and sales through ebay and USAcoinbook.
I concur you should contact Paypal as it could be the beginning of a wider issue.
Was your issue resolved? Or do we have a software problem
No software problem.
I didn't think so, so what was the issue that prevented you from getting the buyers address.

This is really strange.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I would NOT do this. You are opening yourself up to trouble if something goes wrong.
how was the transfer of funds to you initiated? ebay? Send him an invoice? give him you PP ID so he could just send you the money?

I sent 5.00 to my wife's PP account using "sending to a friend" (no fee family friendly). Her account shows receipt of the 5.00 and shows a name only from the sender with no address and no print shipping label option.
I sent a second 5.00 to my wife's PP account using "paying for an item or service." Her account shows receipt of the 5.00 and shows a shipping address and has a "print shipping label" option.
A third way to transfer money to another PP account is to pay for a purchase that offers a PP payment option such as ebay. We all know that an address and shipping label option will appear in the PP account of the person receiving the funds.
The only other way that I'm aware of sending money through PP is when a seller sends a buyer an invoice and the buyer pays the seller from the invoice received in PP. I do not know it this option provides the seller a shipping address for the buyer or an option to print a shipping label but I assume it does.
Based on these four methods of transferring money between two PP accounts the only method that will NORMALLY not provide the seller with the buyer's address is the "send to a friend" option.
If anyone knows of another way to transfer money between two PP accounts, please chime in.

I use your 4th option all the time and I get an address and the option to purchase a shipping label.
based on the above the OP received his money via a no fee family friendly payment but for some reason the OP was charged the fee
OR
there was a snafu in that one particular transaction.
Is it possible that PP sees it is not a truly eligible no fee transfer and charges the fee?

I said it before, I think that is what happened....perhaps he somehow got charged fees on a friend + family? Can't believe Paypal doesn't have an answer.
To me it's obvious that this was coded as a ppff transaction. obviously for merchandise. Learn & live. If doing so, make sure the seller has the buyers mailing address.
It was an error on my part. I got 2 payments mixed up. No issue with PayPal.
He got his package in Montana today. Dropped it at the P O around 4 on Saturday afternoon and delivered today. Another package picked up from my mailbox Thurs the 20th also delivered today in Idaho. Not bad service atall.
