Is this a good buy or a don't buy? Took some blurry pics at an antique store, sorry. The dealer is asking 375.00 which then I think would need to grade at least 40. It looks good in hand although flat and probably no luster, and it has a chip on the edge.
O'course I would not buy it raw w/o running it up the flagpole. Cause I have no idea if real, cleaned, or just really bad.
Thanks in advance!

I'm thinking even if it grades XF-40 you paid $100 too much.
I didn't dare buy it - zero knowledge at this point. Thanks!
I did buy this one for 80 bucks cause I just like the look. And I'm wondering in it's 192 years if I'm the first person to use it as a golf ball marker.
NOOOOOOO, Not a good buy!
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
Thanks @BustDMs
Rim Ding.
Shhhh. Don’t tell Abe that i’ve been looking at other coins. Especially the ones with busty women on the front. 😍
I would pass on that one... especially at that price...and would pass even at $100 less...Cheers, RickO
Rim damage really turns people off because it is the first thing they see when looking at the coin. If you are going to spend that kind of money, find one without a rim ding.
