Large Buckles and coins

Some people do strange things with coins. Here are a couple Big buckles made from coins.
The first one measures 8" x 6" and is made from 52 Jefferson nickels soldered together with bezels added for 8 silver dollars.
The second one is 15 Eisenhower dollars welded together to make it.
I found both of these at yard sales in the area. They are way too big for me to wear.
Seems like a big waste but then again, I didn't make them. I did put the silver dollars on the one.
Any of you have anything like this?

Should have used Buffalo nickels for this one.
Liberty head nickels work too but I like the Buffalo theme with this.
I don't.
Very nice indeed!
What are the chances of getting mugged?
Silver dollar belt buckles were the "IN THING" at rodeos when I was a kid.The last rodeo I went to was a couple of years ago in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. No Silver dollar belt buckles to be seen. But the crowd was all tourists so what else to expect? Anyway....there were plenty of souvenir stands so I figured that since I was a big boy now with money, I'd head on over and snag me one of those buckles that I thought were so neato way back when. I only found one. It was plastic. Even the Silver dollar was plastic. I passed. But I did end up getting ripped for a boatload of made in China pink cowgirl hats for the little Hydrantettes, and lots and lots of overpriced junky plastic six-shooters for the little Hydrant boys. All in all it was an enjoyable experience.
Those are great belt buckles... I really like the nickel/dollar one. I had a couple when I lived int TX and AZ... but those were single Morgan dollar buckles... Big buckles were 'big' back then... I would have purchase those at a yard sale...nostalgia. Cheers, RickO
My dad had a shoestring tie with a Morgan dollar in it when he’d go out square dancing back in the day. But that’s about it😊
Reminds me of one of those belts that pro wrestlers come into the ring waving
