Some new Indian quarter eagles for the date set
I have placed 3 new ones into the set recently, and finally got around to sending them down to @crazyhounddog for imaging. I think he did a fantastic job of capturing them, and it is always nice to be able to get the full spectrum without the aid of a loupe. Half the time I send him beat up old slabs and he goes the extra mile to make sure he can capture them as best as he can.
This one is in an older "dove grey" holder, has excellent luster and looks like a pretty PQ 63. I'd generally call this "leather pouch" toning, as it seems to produce similar colors on silver coins.
This is one of my favorites, and I really like the blue/silver splashes in it and the deep coppery orange peeking through.
PCGS 62 which sounds right to me.
This one is the most subtle of the bunch but I like the "gun bluing" color around the obverse rim, along with some reddish and green-gold highlights on the obverse. More gun bluing on the reverse. P63

Nice coins and pictures.
Love them. Bait a trap with toned gold and you will catch me every time.

@clarkbar04 Those are really nice. Are they auction pick ups or did you scour
the adds for these beauties?
I hope my friend here doesn’t mind if I post these a bit larger pics.
All beautiful pieces and I think I might have drooled a bit on these. But I cleaned it up right away.
Great coins, Jeremy👌
Very cool group. I love the look.
Those are great. I’ve loved these coins since my uncle showed me his as a kid. I think they were cheaper when he was buying, though, and my budget hasn’t caught up to his (even in absolute dollars)...one day.
In the meantime I’ll admire yours on here.
Umm, where the heck did you find all those??? I'm pretty sure a few belong in my toned Indian set..... Lol. Love them!!
I think that’s a testament to my popularity!
@jwitten I bought all of them on eBay, and thanks everyone for the compliments!
The gold Indian coin is my favorite... particularly the half eagle...Nice collection. Cheers, RickO
looks like a nice set you have going!
I like me a half eagle too! They are pricey enough I don't add as many but fortunately the set is smaller.
Just gorgeous stuff! I, too am in the process of building a date set of these coins and I'm also looking for examples with nice color.
