TurtleCat Gold Dollars
Maybe COVID on the coin???
I get paranoid. Just saying.
Not this again! Don't make me break out a photo of my toe nails!
Luckily I already finished lunch.
Yep... looks like he has be doing some heavy work before posting coin images!
Yes indeed. Not many left like him these days. Most sit behind a desk in front of a monitor for 8 hours and go to meetings or worse "work" from home and think that's work.
Then the rest just collect unemployment, welfare or whatever the government hands out etc.
I'm shocked this country has a GDP.
As someone who works on cars as a hobby I can tell you just how difficult it is to get every bit of oil/grease/crud stain off of your hands. You can was them five times with dish soap and still have stuff in the grooves of your fingerprints.
Collector, occasional seller
There is an item on Ebay that I want to buy but the seller took pics of it resting on his big fat hairy leg.
I just have not been able to pull the trigger on it yet.
"God made dirt, and dirt don't hurt."
God made a lot of things that I don't want touching my coins.
I double dog dare ya.
You wanna see me get a red avatar don't you? I thought you liked me.
What? Like a cupcake?
when I worked at the Pawn Shop we used Nitric acid to test Gold. if it got on your fingers it wouldn't really burn but even after washing your skin would look yellow like the OP, stayed like that for weeks.
My hands are always clean, but I've been guilty of dirty finger nails in pictures before, lol. I work out in my yard/garden a lot, and frequently get dirty nails that are a pain to get spotless. I always try to crop my nails out of my pictures though, haha.
Doesn't bother me as much as the guy on Ebay who models the socks he's selling.
Blechhhhh

Hey......my leg may be hairy but it's not fat!
Guys with long fingernails ... tells me a lot about their overall hygiene!
We went from hands & fingernails to hairy legs & socks. Looks like toe nails are next!
I wonder if Heather will forgive me if I tell her I was "double dog dared" to do it?
That's not dirt. That's patina or toning.
yes, and if they are too busy or too lazy to appreciate what poor marketing it is, at least photo the silly coins NOT in-hand. isn't it obvious?

Well... We are only buying/evaluating the coin... forget the surrounding details.... Does one buy a book because of the cover? Perhaps some do....but not logical. Painters have paint on their fingers and nails...people still buy the paintings...many other examples out there. Just give the coins an acetone rinse when you get them... I am sure some of your coins have encountered far worse - but you accept them since you do not know about past encounters....Dang...think of those bills... Cheers, RickO
A quick dip might help!
