Congrats on your purchase!
When you get them we would like to see them.
Please post them to this thread rather than start a new one.
Most of the time it is best to wait until you have your coins in hand before posting.
Looks like a great starter kit. I agree, post some more pictures to this thread when you receive your coins.
Can’t wait to see them

I'd like to take a better look at that Lincoln cent
I found the listing you bought them from. These sets usually don’t include coins that are BU shown in the pictures as the description says the coins will be around VF condition.
What’s nice is that the set includes the classic American coins. Please post pictures of them when you receive them.

i get them on Tuesday
nice, I strongly suspect the indianhead cent, buffalo nickel and mercury dime will not look near as nice and the buffalo nickel you get will not be a mound reverse.
That’s a nice little assortment. Take your time with each one. Learn about it, take a crack at grading it (PCGS Photograde is a good place to start if you don’t have books yet). Post photos, guesses and questions in this thread when you’re ready. That way we remember that we’re already excited about you getting them.
they are gonna be random years not ones shown on the picture
I don't know what you paid, but will just give you a word to the wise and that is that the pouch of coins you just purchased will not contain coins anywhere near as nice as what is imaged and that if you aren't careful you will have spent real money on poor purchases within a short period of time.

Welcome to the hobby! Maybe you’ll find your favorite coin amongst those and learn what you want to go after. Then you can start buying graded coins!
Welcome!
@Landon6
I think you're doing "ok" with that purchase. It's how many people start.
That being said, if you let us know your budget and the types of coins you are interested in, we may be able to help you get a leg up faster
i paid way to much for my first coin purchases also, 75 cents each for 20 bu wheat rolls, so i have 15 dollars in them, all my birthday money back in the day, but i got lucky and did very well with them, some are better dates also, the grumpy old man in the coin shop made me bring my dad because i was only 5 years old. still have them
I feel that somehow I should be offended by that remark. I think most of us would qualify.
Sorry for the hijack, but remember the days when a 5 year old could walk into a store by himself and buy stuff and walk home?? Other than coin stores apparently lol.

Although the quality of the coins you receive will be significantly lower than the pictures, it will be a bit like collecting from change in the old days...albeit a tad more expensive. Be sure to show us (in this thread) what they look like when you get them....and have fun learning from them. Cheers, RickO
New blood is good blood. Don't throw good money after bad money.
Thought for the day.
@Landon6 Welcome to the hobby. Great little assortment of coins, I hope they are better than I would imagine. If your parents would allow, pm me your address and I will send you an assortment of American coins that will be far better than what you will get for no charge. Then you can compare the quality and grades and learn at the same time. Congratulations on becoming a forum member and we truly will enjoy your growth. Keep posting.

Nice starter set!
Landon- if your recent purchase turns out bad...it will be worth the money if you learn from it. Trust me when I tell you, I still make mistakes and am still learning and my mistakes cost A LOT more. This, like saltwater fishing, is an expensive hobby.

Welcome to the hobby and please don;t let an unfavorable first purchase (which is what this board anticipates, based on past experiences) sour you on the hobby. It can be fun and profitable!
