    Yes it’s nice, I agree😊

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Landon, may I offer a suggestion. Look up the definition of "coin", "medal", and "token". This is meant to be educational. I could tell you the definitions and differences in the three, but it's better if you look it up yourself.

I'm glad you changed your picture. Your purchase is very nice. However it is not a coin. It is considered to be a copper round, an item of copper bullion. I hope you didn't pay more than $1-2. Look up the word exonumia. These are coin related items. If you're here to be a coin collector, think about that. Have a good day. Peace Roy

I agree 100%, but I think it is important for him to know the difference between coins, medals, and tokens.

Please post a video! I bet the reverse (backside) looks cool.

That’s a really nice pick up. I’m biased based on current profession, but people need to buy more copper!
You’re lucky to have places to buy coins and coin related items right now.

If someone wants to only collect coins, they could easily buy up a bunch of Poor grade Lincoln pennies on the cheap, while having nothing artistic at all, yet they would still be called a coin collector. I believe most coin collectors buy certain coins because of their history, or the beauty of their designs.

There was a time when I owned the SP66 1794 Dollar. The year that I purchased it, I attended the PCGS Registry ANA Luncheon. I shared the table with Dave Bowers, his grandson, Chris Karstedt, and David Hall. Dave Bowers' grandson asked what I collected. I thought to be clever, and answered "I collect Specimen Strike 1794 Dollars!" David Hall was silent, reviewing his notes for his presentation. I happened to have been an award recipient, and when he brought up my name, he told the audience what I had said, and then looked over to me and said, "Martin, there's only one of those, so you can't say you collect them, as collecting means more than one!! There I was, after having purchased the single highest valued coin at the time, and the CEO of PCGS (with tongue in cheek) said I wasn't a collector!!

Hmmm...what DID @tradedollarnut buy when he was 12?

A wedge of vanilla cake with strawberry frosting sounds delightful right now. A side of ice cold (whole) milk too.

Ever so lazy you don't take the time to microwave your leftover pizza?
(that's how this thread makes me feel.)

I think lemon is a vegetable.

Lemon in beer is a no go for me. My wife ordered a beer the other night, it had blueberries floating in it. Dead serious.

No logical reason to wrap it around your head........just slam it down your throat.

Because it’s multiple berries fused together, a technical term for pineapple is a “collective fruit “.
So it makes sense that collectors should like them...especially on something coin shaped, like a pizza.

    Back to the copper ounce....

The danger with this kind if thing is that they are often overpriced. But as long as you did not pay too much for it, it is a great collectable. That is a great design and it looks good in copper. :p

I will admit to having a few things like this in my collection. ;)

Love the design, too bad it's copper and not gold. Stick with it, some day. Congrats!!

The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Nice acquisition.... The design looks good in copper. Is the size the same as the quarter? Or larger? Cheers, RickO

A nice lady happened into a coin shop (no spam intended) , a few days back

... and sold her mom's "Library Of Coins" album Collection.

    And there were "key" coins.
I do have the 2016 Gold Standing Liberty Quarter issued by the U.S. Mint, to keep it related to OP's post. No photo and pricey ..... but real deals are much better collectibles. I would encourage young people to collect. It is fun.
