For League B, the draft is now set for Tuesday 9/8 @9PM EST. But I am open to any other dates other than this Sunday.

  • gameusedhoopgameusedhoop Posts: 3,585 ✭✭✭✭

9pm EST on Tuesday works best for me also. Anytime before that may be tough as we need time to fill and pay in league B. Most importantly though we should fill it as fast as possible so that we can randomize the draft order as far in advance as possible. I would much rather prepare for where I am picking as opposed to having to prepare for 14 different draft spots and scenarios.

Payment sent. Tuesday is best for me but can make any day after 7 pm work

So far ten teams are signed up for the CU FFL B League. When all 12 have signed up, I can finalize the draft.

  • cpamikecpamike Posts: 5,565 ✭✭✭

Okay guys, drafts for both leagues are set for Tuesday, September 8th, League A at 9:30pm Eastern and League B at 9:00pm Eastern. NOTE Both leagues are now only 12 teams so strategize for the draft accordingly.

Still waiting on payments from Wrestlingcardking and Railsidecards. Please send via PayPal Family & Friends to sleepypam@msn.com ASAP. I will randomize the draft as soon as all payments are received.

Anyone know if you can draft two leagues from your yahoo account with two different computers? i have a conflict and may attempt at sucking at two drafts at once this year.

Here we go again. Pats CB Stephon Gilmore just tested positive for Covid. So who knows what’s going to happen with that game now.
Mike and I discussed what to do about postponed games last week. We came up with a new edict that we will implement going forward starting with this week. If a game is postponed, rescheduled to a Monday or Tuesday game, but ultimately is postponed and not played, then any activated players on Fantasy Rosters from those teams will be substituted with the bench player at that position with the highest PROJECTED POINT RATING by Yahoo. Not the player with the most points, but the player AT THAT POSITION with the highest Projected Points Rating for that week.
So each manager can now set up their team as they like, either stash players or set up the roster with the most viable substitutes for each position. But you do not have to worry about the possibility of a game not being played and getting zero points for those players. The next highest rated player will be substituted should the game not be played that week.
If you have any questions, please post them here, so all managers can see the discussion.

I think that is a fair solution. Hopefully we can make it through the season.

Hey guys, good luck in the finals! I will post a screen shot of the League A final score. If someone can do the same for League B final once it is over, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks Gameused hoops. Kamara and Evans sealed it up early for me. You just had a bad week at the wrong time. Congrats to you for the excellent season and 2and place.

Congratulations to Gang Gilby for winning the CU FFL League B Year 7 Championship.

And a big thank you to CPAMike for handling all the league finances this season. I am all set up for next season to handle the finances, if I am retained as commish for next season that is.

I thought I'd never say this, but I have to some credit to Roger Goodell and the NFL for pulling off a full season of NFL Football. And I'm sticking with my original Super Bowl matchup prediction of Pittsburgh - Green Bay.

Happy New Year to everyone in both leagues and to all board members.

Thanks guys, just glad we were able to have some fun with everything going on. Fantasy football is always a nice distraction. And thanks to Sam (AC000000) for stepping up to take over League B. I think you earned your commissioner strips.

Congratulations to this year's 2020 CU Fantasy Football Champion Gilbey, well done!! Also, I'd like to thank all the managers in both leagues for their understanding under trying circumstances.

If Gilbey, Steve (gameusedhoop), Scott (Porkins), and whoever finished third in League B can verify their PayPal addresses via PM, I will get your payout sent asap. Jeff (jeffcbay) and Jim (Francart) both received their payouts already.

    Happy New Year Guys!!
