Anyone ever seen copper cored half qurter dime in 1960 and 61 mint sets I found them and my research points to what they call pattern coins or metal patters

I’d like to see a picture of that. But no, I’ve never seen what you describe.
Never heard of it and unless I see pics then I still haven't heard of it.
Two questions come immediately to mind:

Having a hard time understanding how that could happen. And just what is a "half qurter dime" anyway, some new denomination that I wasn't told about???

Welcome and your excitement shows! Good for you. Yes, we would love to see pics and of course please do not clean them or mess with them in ANY way....you might just have something very special and valuable.

Welcome to the forum!
There is a chance you might have some kind of toning going on, photos would be needed.
Along with photos.... please provide the research you found that indicates they are pattern coins.
Welcome to the boards.
I agree; most likely toning.
welcome to the boards, we need to see more metal patters around here.
I’m also in agreement with it might be toned.
Pics please😊
Never seen it or heard of it. Post a pic if possible

Toning is currently the most plausible explanation

I have seen a number of sets where the silver coins tone a copper/brown color. In every case there was an opening somewhere in the sealing and the sealing between the coins had come apart.
Easy to verify by weight.
Clad coins (.75 copper with .25 nickel) are lighter.
1961 Proof Set should weigh the same as my 1963:
