Baseball and now basketball....are we doomed to see tennis, golf, soccer, water polo etc. next?

I holding my money tight til the women's beach volleyball coin comes out in high relief.
I have been told that in addition to gold and silver there will be a special Hawaiian Tropic bronze colorized version and a barely clad half dollar coin.

I am hoping for one commemorating the shooting sports.... a nice Colt .45 or Browning Hi-Power would be nice. Cheers, RickO
I waiting for the bowling ball coin with three holes in it.

All four are contenders, just hope it's not celebrity poker with personally signed inserts by Jussie Smollett
Don’t we already have that? There are commems for every possible branch of military and every war we’ve ever fought. And then some.
@pruebas .... Those commemorate the conflict and those who perished. Different entirely from commemorating the sport. Cheers, RickO
I'm waiting for the Mohammad Ali vs George Foreman knock-out punch.
Exactly @ReadyFireAim, I'm waiting for the Curling coin too with encapsulated granite chip and broom bristle. Certified used in actual competition of course.
I’m waiting for the 5 oz silver hockey commemorative puck
I think I found a real good candidate for the reverse on your coin.
For this one I think a "Like Very Much" BUTTon is needed.
I would buy s curling one for sure. Dont watch sports at all but for some reason that comes on tv or in the Olympics and I'm glued to the tv. Have no idea why? Tried it once at an actual curling place and let me tell you it's not as easy as it looks
HAPPY COLLECTING
Why do I keep coming back to this post about sports coins? Picturing a coin might help keep it up a bit longer.
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
How is it that this is even considered to be a coin? Is it just me?
It has a $200 cash value? so maybe it is a coin, technically?,
I prefer the Australian version,... which would be rugby most likely, if not beach volleyball, of course. True, once you open the colorization and shape door, the possibilities of designs are endless.

Note to self, Do not allow my daughter or granddaughter to play beach volleyball.
Is that the standard issue for Olympics?
😂
Hands down my favorite sport in the Olympics, for obvious reasons.
Not a lot of advertising space there but I see they're making the best of what must be disappointing.

I just don't see what is disappointing in the design, so why imagine that?,...and to be honest, I usually do better aiming first.

All you need is some kind of "worthy" hall-of-fame type surcharge recipient, a numerical anniversary, buy a couple of congress-critters and poof.

FISHING!
Our neighbors to the north have done several silver commemorative coins, ( 2013 $3, 2016 $20, plus others) with FISHING as the subject matter.
With all the Bass fishing enthusiasts in the US its a wonder we haven't gone there yet!
Come on US Mint! For example, maybe a high relief silver proof with a mirrored and watery reflective lake, Lilly pads, and a leaping large-mouth?
pass on whatever junk the mint comes out with

lol... first thing that came to my mind when reading your post.... is the kitschy 'singing bass' from a few years back that you hung on the wall like a stuffed trophy but it was mechanical and sang songs....
Hummm.... maybe if the US Mint could put a 'singing bass' on a silver dollar.... !!!
