1908 Indian Half Eagle Question about Holder

Hello, everyone.
I picked up this 1908 Indian half eagle on auction and noticed the holder edges seemed a bit strange. Most of the coins I have are slabbed in newer generation holders and I could not definitively conclude what generation this one was. Anyway, what do you all think? I meant to delete this in the other forum, but could not figure out how to do so. If the holder is legit, I might get it reholdered anyway.

Green label holders are roughly 25 years old at this point. Normal wear and tear. Looks like some small air bubbles may have gotten trapped along the top during sonic sealing.
Good move bringing it over here ... your question is legit on ... if the coin could be a possible counterfeit.
Nice coin and holder combo!
Nice!
Looks fine and if it were mine I would not re-holder.
I would not re holder that coin. OGH coins are popular with a lot of collectors.
The holder is fine.
However, deciding to reholder it simply because the holder bothers you may reduce both the value and liquidity of the coin. Tread lightly when having an old green holder destroyed.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Both the coin and the holder look authentic...The OGH slab adds value.... Best to keep it 'as is'... Cheers, RickO
