Might be instructive to search eBay for 1913 cents, and see what they are selling for in much better condition than yours. Will quickly answer your grading question...
@Kpog62 .... Welcome aboard.... You have a worn and damaged 1913 cent....definitely not worth submitting (cost etc.) If you are new to the hobby, you have come to a great place for information. Good luck... Cheers, RickO
If it were mine, I would either spend it or return it to the parking lot where it was found.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Thank you Mark, condition is bad for sure. The bottom of the 3 would be the same as the bottom of the 9 but it was pushed upward. Thanks for input.
1913, 1923, and all of the cents from the 1930s had a short 3, unlike the 9 that you speak of. The long 3 didn't occur 1943.

1913 worth about 2 cents. Will cost $30 to have it graded.

First guess is 1913, looking at it on my phone. No need to grade. Just enjoy.
IMHO too badly damaged to be worth grading

Thank you guys. The 3 on this coin does not look like the 3 on the 1913 penny.
Yes, it does?
Worn copper certainly is squishable. Yeah it's a 13. Peace Roy

@PerryHall..... Oh no.... then we will have another thread about this coin Cheers, RickO
It certainly looks nothing like the 3 on a 1943, and that's all that matters, considering the condition of the coin.

1913? That penny is really messed up.

Funny how if that was a V nickel it would be worth thousands of dollars.
