Anyone ongoing to the PCGS members only show this week?

cccoinscccoins Posts: 287 ✭✭✭✭

I need to get out of town for a few days, so I am heading to Vegas on Wednesday. Probably my first coin show in five years. I would be happy to sit down and say hello to you if you are there.

I went to the one 3 weeks ago. Quiet. About 2/3 of the dealers showed.

GSAs, OBW rolls, Seated, Walkers. Anything old and Colorado-focused, CO nationals.

Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.

Was thinking about taking a road trip just to view TDN's coins in person, but don't have the time right now.

I would if it was anywhere near me but these are never anywhere within reasonable driving distance for me. I don’t want to fly with expensive coins or lots of money.

I don't want to go anywhere non-essential with the pandemic. I go to work about 1 day per week and telework the rest. We grocery shop buying most of what we need for a month, and supplement with small runs for dairy/deli/produce.

No trips planned.... I will likely not make my annual trip to Scottsdale, AZ this year... Hate to miss that trip. Was going to go to Scottsdale Silver this trip too... Perhaps things will change in the next two months...Cheers, RickO

I've attended quite a few of these shows in the past and enjoyed them immensely. I'm passing on this one though, though I'd love to see Bruce's coins on display there. Hopefully someone can do a report and post some images.

I pondered going, just to get away for a few days.

Vegas flights are absolutely dirt cheap from Seattle. Decided not to. :(

I went today for about thirty minutes. Arrived at 4:45pm. The
Cbd staff was friendly and helpful. I would say that there were between six and ten dealers present, with mst of them prepping submissions. I will head back in the afternoon tomorrow to make another pass. Free ice cream, and free soda, so I was happy.
