Saw this article on-line today. But it probably pales compared to some of the folks here with trash cans full of pennies, etc, based on some of the posts I've read here!!

It adds up fast!
Nice story.
I guess that's the end of the coin shortage !
I can relate to that fellow.... My jars of change have been accumulating for about ten years, and of course I have old jars of wheat cents that I have had for much longer....then there are mint/proof sets, and lots of other coin storage cabinets etc.. Probably many of us are in a similar situation with piles of change around. Cheers, RickO
When cash was almost the only way to pay I would throw all my change and ones into a big casino cup on the dresser. Take out the ones, stash them and continue to accumulate coins. Come vacation time we would roll the coins and take the ones to the bank. A normal year we would have around $500 kick around money. Nice little stash of mad money. Today I’m lucky to have $100 total after 2 years.
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
I haven't got that much and that's impressive. im sure will hear more about these bigger ones
Did my part today................ turned in a WHOPPING $37+ in change at my Credit Union.............. shortage over!!
