On Saturday at almost 2PM I bought a coin on eBay...

It was in my PO Box before 10AM today (Monday). That's impressive. Granted, the person I bought the coin from is only a few cities away but wow! He clearly needed to hustle that package to the post office on Saturday where the post office took over like a well oiled machine. When I made the purchase, I didn't even notice where the person was located and just figured I would have the coin by the end of the week. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the notification that the item was delivered and I went to get the tracking number and visit the USPS website to confirm. Sure enough, I went to the PO Box and there it was.

First Class mail is moving fast right now, yet I have now had 6 issues back to back shipping and getting things via Priority Mail.

Nothing too terribly exciting. A well bought Mercury Dime Variety. It isn't a top pop but still a nice Mint State example place holder while I build a better version of the variety set I once had. The hunt continues.

I had a first class coast to coast from Saturday to this morning. It seems the usps is sometimes really on the ball, but all my expresses have been late for a while now.

That is a fast delivery. Right now, mail is a bit messed up. My son-in-law works for the Post Office and told me that due to air transport being so cut back, it is having a severe impact on mail delivery - super impact on shipments from outside the U.S.. Cheers, RickO
