I picked this PF Washington up, after examining closely the 0, in the date. Now, I'm very aware of the dreaded Mach. Doubling. In which, this might end up being. but by looking into the center of the O. It appears to be a "Triple strike"? To me, it just looks peculiar. Your thoughts? Thanks guy's!

I do see what you are referring to.... Proof coins are struck twice .. and I would think that the anomaly is due to the process... a version of machine doubling. I will, however, defer to the expertise of @FredWeinberg ... Cheers, RickO

In my experience, modern proof coins in particular cause photographic artifacts that can make you think you see something that's not there.
