I must say she still has the look for a long term in my collection.

You let the cat out of the bag.
Now we know how you come up with soo many corroded cents..... you're making them.
I have heard of artificial toning but never heard about artificial corrosion. until now
Paper or Plastic ?
Not me,
But sure would like to get closure.> @ifthevamzarockin said:
"Paper or Plastic ?"
Well... cats like paper bags and they tend to die in the plastic ones so I'm gonna go with paper.
I remember that first pic from a while back.
It looks damaged and corroded. What sort of answer were you expecting?
Looks like a high school science experiment.....Good job on the picture...Cheers, RickO
A while back.
Story goes, I'm not 4 inches tall, I cant scrimgshaw (spellcheck?) on a grain of rice,
What am I looking for ?
Maybe , other opinions on the preservation of this garden (lol).
So far I've noticed it needs to be in a cool enviorment.
It gathers dust very easy, so its covered.
My goal is to give the best parenting for its survival, in the same state as I found it.
Its just very cool to me.
I could ask more but ... won't.
Now, how far away is Valentines Day?
Weird Science...yes, But love that product.
Lol
She's still banging to date.
Photo too close for my taste.
try this.
Just checking her temp..
And people thought the coronavirus came from China.
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
This might help improve the appearance
Mongo say Bongo Bongo
I think he is trying to do this
It would look cool in a slab 😉

Please don't pick on the daisy !
Lol
Look, if you saw this on the edge of a coin at the time it surfaced from a coin wrapper what would you do with it ?
To me it's like a puppy left on my door step with no instructions.
Now get back to work.
Growl.
Brother.

Just an update. Spring is just around the corner.
I hope she never grows up.
But, you can't fool Mother Nature.
Here's a better photo.
March 28, 2021
Spring has arrived.
I think she had cabin fever.
But, "she's feeling much better now".
Amazingly healthy. Must be all the CO2 in here.
Or the climate control @ 70 f. Looks good to me.
Hey ?
Syke !
Very busy (lol) these past few days. She needs to stretch out a bit. Lol,
Question ?
Is this what they call carbon dating ?
I had to dress her up this time.
Are you trying to breed some new disease? Get rid of that thing.
Collector, occasional seller
I do not get it.
Such a waste of time.
Looks like it has the strands on a nice bud.
Take a hit of acid and about 10 Tequila shots then stare at your coins until 4:00 am
Of course with mag na fi cat ion. Thanks Cuz.
Not now, I'm at work, in the stripping room. Ok, the negative room.
Facinating progression of this coin and thread.
I too am wondering whether it is all tied into some sort of art, metaphysics, science, pathology, creativity or beyond all that?
Stripping room/negative room?
Film?
But,most of the film labs are gone the way of the typesetting rooms.
Certainly interesting!
It’s a mystery and a puzzle for me.

Hello !
It's nice to meet someone who is familar with printing and its terms.
Someone said "Printers do it without wrinkling the sheets". Tee shirt humor.
Try to tell a date , " Im a stripper, and let it ride a while, priceless.
Hope to talk later.
As for her,, room temp. at 70 covered dust seems to gather or I just take extra percautions.
Forgive me for being short but its time to close this thread for next months inspection.
See around. Kiddo.
I'm happy to say she hung on like a champion .
When I went to her last week she looked tired with one tread attached to the coin .
I think she was enclosed to much in 70 o temps.
Now she's pushing up pumpkins.
She left some other goodies that I was not aware of until last week .
Closing this thread for now.
Thank You to all who visited this thread
Happy Halloween
