PCGS customer service response times

How long does it typically take PCGS customer service to respond to an email? Is over two weeks typical?

I've had to call them a couple of times this month. Each time it has been about 15-20 minutes worth of hold time but that's a lot better than waiting for 2 weeks and still wondering if they will ever even reply.

Their email replies take entirely too long to reply back...if they do. It sounds like its time to make a phone call.

You’re incorrectly presupposing that they reply. Please rephrase the questions.

I have never had them reply to an e-mail. I've been submitting for nearly 20 years.

I've gotten better responses by emailing individuals directly. Of course you have to know employee addresses.

This is another area PCGS really should look at. Response times to Customer Service are dismal at best.

At a minimum, the removal of the option to email is in order. The false option is what's objectionable. I'd also propose gangster rap as the on hold music as a means of filtering out frivolous telephonic inquiries.

I emailed them yesterday and then called. The rep responded the to my email so I could attach pictures to support answering the question. She said the next reply from the world coin expert could take a few weeks.

    I'd try using a phone.

I tried calling a couple weeks ago and the hold music was so bad that I had to hang up after 10 minutes when it became apparent that it was never going to change to something else. I'm now afraid to call for fear I'd have to hear it again.

I get back a boiler plate email directing me to a few places and answered for questions I may have and then they say to call... Info@pcgs is not a good way to communicate with PCGS anymore about certain things....
