Little tiny metalporn Friday. More of that mid-century Guadalajara silversmith

Found these the same time that I found that brooch, but it took forever to get here. These have a tiny bit of damage, too, with a few flecks of that crazy deep blue turquoise (sure looks like lapis to me) missing.
I'm tempted not to fix it. The nature of these clip on earrings is probably such that you torque them to an extent when you open and close them. I suspect that's what made the tiny pieces pop.
I'd like to think these depict "Jimadores", the farmers who grow and harvest agave to make tequila and mezcal. They use a special type of staff with a round blade on the end called a "coa de jima".
Get anything interesting this week?

You are assembling an interesting collection...Awakening my long dormant interest in turquoise jewelry....Wish I still had some of my acquisitions....Cheers, RickO
Way cooling like
Awesome! El Jimador is a good brand of tequila as well. Glad to see the Jimadores celebrated!
Mom had an American Indian jewelry store when I was a kid--I literally grew up around it.
