Conder Token NEWPS!

I jumped in deep with a small collection. I’ve never really messed with these before.

I find them fascinating and love the original surfaces. These are my first Conder tokens of this quality...

Then the 1/2 penny:

And this one, highest grade, but my least favorite of the group:

Great start to your Conder collection, all three are beautiful examples of popular and historically important tokens.

Very nice! Are you interested in a particular theme, or conders in general?

I have a few...always said I didn't collect them but got up to 25 or so (but have sold a couple--there are 2 though that will be long term keeper in my eventual 'box of 20').

They are definitely a very interesting area of collecting. I picked up a nice AU-UNC group of about 14 in a collection I purchased. I don't collect them and won't keep them, but I certainly can appreciate them.

I've never really collected them, but I found this anti-slavery theme fascinating and very historical. I could see myself buying more political ones, but the others are interesting, too.

@asheland The anti-slavery ones are very cool. Congratulations on your purchases!
