This little guy was at David Lawrence. Attractive to me because of toning that suggests long term mint set storage.

    I like to label those as a "sandstorm" effect. Especially the reverse. I do like the obv. almost complete ring of orange.

    Interesting machine doubling on Liberty and slightly on the date....accented by the tarnish. Cheers, RickO

    Thanks for the observation. The '9' and the 'B' provide the best indication. It is a nice bit of character for the coin. The tarnish is, to me, very much indicative of undisturbed storage in a mint set. Another bit of character.
