July 4th, 1861

The Civil War flag below is an original; hanging on my “l love me wall”.

It’s a 34-star flag for Kansas, admitted to the Union as a Free-State in January 29, 1861. This Flag became official on July 4th, 1861...less than 3 months from the start of the war between the states.

This Flag lasted two years and was served by only one president, Abraham Lincoln.

    That flag is awesome!
    I couldn't help but notice the images on the wall in the background, I took these photos during the first Gulf War.
    I was always amazed how much ordinance the A-6's could carry!

    Edited to correct the aircraft as an A6 - Not the A4
    A6-E Intruder (pictured below)
    E-A6 Prowler (not pictured)
    If memory serves me correct
