I'm not sure what started me on this journey but I started picking up 1938-D Buffalos in different holders/slabs. The odder the better. I just picked these 2 up. What do you think?

Like the old PCI photoslab!
I like both.
They are both great, but if I had to pick one, I'd go for the Capital Plastics holder better. Collecting is more fun with holders like that.
Love them both!!!!!
Both are cool.
I love the PCI. Buffalo nickels and gold are tied at my #1. There's some gorgeous examples. Thank you for sharing. These things are always neat.
Nice!

It first looked like an abstract Wisconsin map to me.
(And the second a Colorado map, but not Wyoming.)

I like the top one. Took me a second to realize it was a buffalo. I thought it was Wisconsin.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Nice .... I like the Buffalo holder... Why have you selected '38D Buffs? They did make a lot of quality coins that year. Cheers, RickO
very nice.

Not sure why the ‘38-D. I picked up a few different PCGS generation slabs and it just kinda morphed. Not an obsession, but when I see something neat, I pick it up. BTW, here are my PCGS generation slabs to this point.

Cool additions! At first, I was trying to guess which state the first holder was.
